Copper cathode production at Qaen

The Dezuki plant was designed and built for Kavir Mes Mashregh Zamin in Qaen, South Khorasan. Its product is copper cathode, produced through a leaching-based route.

Zarfaravar’s scope includes plant design and construction. The engagement develops mineral-processing facilities to convert ore feed into a finished copper product.

02

Heap-leach line design and delivery

The heap-leaching line forms part of the Dezuki site’s processing development. Zarfaravar’s scope includes its design and execution to support economic copper recovery from the mineral resource. Leaching the stacked ore provides copper-bearing solution for the subsequent recovery process.

03

Plant and heap scale

The project description lists annual plant feed of 70,000 tonnes, cathode capacity of 500 tonnes per year and annual heap feed of 50,000 tonnes. Plant feed and heap feed are listed separately as specifications of their respective parts of the operation.
