Expanding an existing plant
The Tuzlar leaching expansion at Mahneshan, Zanjan was defined to increase processing capacity, improve gold recovery and optimize operations. The engagement focuses on existing infrastructure and equipment performance.
Its scope concerns the leaching line and is separate from the Tuzlar sulphide-gold flotation plant project. Each section is considered through its role in the complex’s processing chain.
Grinding, leaching and loaded carbon
The expansion documentation identifies grinding, leaching and loaded-carbon washing units. These stages connect feed preparation with the subsequent gold-recovery process at Tuzlar.
Expansion feed capacity
Listed feed for the leaching expansion is 60,000 tonnes per year. The development targets equipment performance and productivity within existing facilities, with stable production and improved recovery stated as project objectives.
